Bulgarian MP being investigated for espionage

The Specialized Prosecutor's Office of Bulgaria has opened an investigation into allegations by citizens that a deputy with the initials E.G. may have committed a crime under Chapter One of the Criminal Code.

An immediate investigation has been launched into the case, after which the Specialised Prosecutor's Office is expected to release more information.

According to BNR sources, the alert is against Vazrazhdane party MP Elena Guncheva, related to a statement she made about Prime Minister Kiril Petkov and US Ambassador Hero Mustafa.
