Trust in government falls, sociologists say

According to sociologists, trust in the government after its first 100 days in power has marked a decline. A study by the Market Links Agency shows that GERB party has 22% of support, while the ruling party "We Continue the Change" receives support of nearly 20%.

"There is no surprise in the lower trust in the government," sociologist Evelina Slavkova told BNR, adding that Trend agency also marked this in March. "People's incomes, the rise in prices of all goods and services - these are the big problems," she said. According to her, there was lack of messages to society. "In the public space the party prefers to comment on topics such as the election of head of the BNB, which may not be the most important thing," the sociologist said.
