6.4% coronavirus positivity rate in Bulgaria in past day

321 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 4,143 tests performed, data of coronavirus.bg show. Two-thirds of the new cases are among the unvaccinated. 6.4% of the tests have returned positive result. 

The number of active cases of Covid-19 increased with 33 to 169,657. 25 Covid-19 patients have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 19 of them were not immunized. The number of Covid-19 hospitalizations decreased with 14 to 1,252. 136 patients are being treated in intensive care units.

8 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past day and 224 people have been reported cured. A mere 121 vaccine doses were administered on Sunday.
