The four-party ruling coalition held a council meeting. Toshko Yordanov, Deputy Chairman of "There is Such a People" party (ITN), announced after the meeting that his political party would not withdraw its nomination for governor of the Bulgarian National Bank

Toshko Yordanov said he regarded the calls for the withdrawal of Lyubomir Karimansky’s nomination as “extortion”. "The problem regarding the payments to the road construction companies is being used in this dispute. Suggestions that “There is Such a People” could benefit from a possible corrupt scheme are being made", Toshko Yordanov further said. That is why, ITN will propose the establishment of a Parliamentary commission that will be able to authorize the payments to each ministry.
