The European Commission has already given the green light to Bulgaria’s Recovery and Resilience Plan. Now, the European Council should finally endorse the plan. The procedure will take about one month and is expected to end in the beginning of May, said Cvetan Kyulanov, Head of the European Commission’s Representation in Bulgaria.
Bulgaria is expected to claim the first grant at the end of the second or the beginning of the third quarter of 2022. Disbursements can take place a maximum of twice a year, Cvetan Kyulanov pointed out.
