Slight rise in number of new Covid-19 cases

There were 871 new Covid-19 cases registered in Bulgaria during the past day. According to the Unified Coronavirus Information Portal, 8.7% of 10,052 tests returned positive result. There are 1,213 patients in hospitals, as 134 of them are in intensive care. There were 203 new hospitalizations yesterday. 30 people died as 83% of them were not vaccinated. 2,634 patients recovered.

Most of the new cases are in Sofia - 227, Plovdiv - 80 and Varna - 59.

The number of people immunized during the past day reached 1,430. There are 2,052,500 people with a completed vaccination cycle and 732,382 with three administered doses.
