Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev conferred with the Keys to the City of Porto

Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev, who is paying an official visit to Portugal, received an official welcome by his Portuguese counterpart Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. Later, at a ceremony in the City Hall, the Mayor of Porto Rui Moreira presented the Keys to the City of Porto to the Bulgarian President. 

"Russia's invasion of Ukraine constitutes a threat to the European values, Rui Moreira said in his speech. “If two countries situated on the two ends of Europe can cooperate with each other and think the same way about the future of Europe, then the entire European family can do the same”, President Rumen Radev said. President Radev and his counterpart Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa are expected to hold talks in the building of the Serralves Foundation which is recognized as one of Portugal’s leading cultural institutions.
