Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska said there were no deadlines for Bulgaria to give the green light for negotiations between the Republic of North Macedonia and the European Union. Today Genchovska was heard by the deputies at a secret meeting on the course of negotiations with Skopje at the request of GERB MPs in connection with Bulgaria's position on North Macedonia's EU membership and the information that appeared in some media that the Prime Minister had agreed with Skopje that the green light to accession talks be given by the end of the summer.

A few days ago, Bulgaria's foreign minister denied allegations of behind-the-scenes deals and said Bulgaria's main demands to Skopje remain unchanged.
