Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Monday, April 18

Holy Week begins with cold weather, rain and snow

It will be cloudy on Monday. Rain is expected in Eastern and Southern Bulgaria. On Monday evening it will rain only in Southwestern Bulgaria. It will snow above 500-600 meters. Minimum temperatures will fluctuate between 0°C and 5°C, for Sofia- around 1°C. Maximum temperatures will range between 6°C and 11°C, for Sofia- 7°C.

Cloudy weather is expected along the Black Sea coast. Significant precipitation is expected along the southern coastline before noon.

The weather in the mountains will be cloudy and foggy. Snow is expected in many areas. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will reach 0°C, at 2,000 meters- minus 5°C.

It will stop raining on Tuesday. Temperatures will rise slightly.
