Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has reiterated his position that Bulgaria should not provide military assistance to Ukraine. "Unlike other countries that are far from the conflict, we have a huge historical diaspora, we have our compatriots in Ukraine who are currently in the zone of military operations. This requires a very careful and responsible decision. I said a long time ago that Bulgaria should provide personal protective equipment to Ukraine," he added.
The President's comment came after the decision of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Parliament to provide technical assistance for self-defense to Ukraine. President Radev said that we must continue helping all people who flee from the war to the best of our abilities.
