Kiril Petkov: The ruling coalition will visit Kyiv on Wednesday

The Bulgarian delegation which will visit Kyiv will set off on Wednesday, Prime Minister Kiril Petkov told bTV channel.

"First, we will hand over the helmets and vests that the Council of Ministers had promised (to send to Ukraine’s civilian population– ed.). Small as this aid may seem - it will be useful.

Second, the whole coalition must demonstrate support for Ukraine. Us being there, this is symbolic.

Third, we will continue to discuss how to get our ship back from Chernomorsk," he added.

Kirill Petkov pointed out that in he, personally, would be happy for our country to provide military assistance to Ukraine, but as Prime Minister his main task is for the coalition to come up with a common position.
