Bulgaria Parade organized by Chicago Consulate General

The Bulgarian Consulate General in Chicago and the city council of Elk Grove Village are organizing the first Bulgaria parade on the occasion of 24 May – the day of the brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture, the Bulgarian news agency BTA reports.

The event is to take place at 11 AM local time on 22 May with the participation of the Bulgarian Sunday schools in the US Midwest, cultural centres, dance clubs and other Bulgarian organizations. The parade will merge with the Bulgarian Community Fair which will also offer fun and games for children, and performances by Bulgarian artists from USA.
