Bulgaria reports 14 Covid-19 related deaths in past day

Bulgaria has registered 588 new cases of Covid-19 in the country for the last 24 hours, which is 163 less than a day earlier. 63% of the newly infected citizens have not been vaccinated. 6.64% of the 8,856 tests performed came back positive, according to the National Coronavirus Information Portal.

The number of actively registered patients has decreased by 3,019 to 144,889. A total of 97 infected patients were admitted to hospitals. 76% of the hospitalized persons are not immunized. The number of patients in hospitals has decreased to 913 as 97 patients are now in intensive care.

During the day, 14 people with an established Covid-19 infection have passed away.

559 vaccines were administered in Bulgaria on Thursday. 2,055,479 people have completed the immunization cycle. 745,528 people have received a booster dose.
