US will support Bulgaria after halting of Russian gas supply

The US is developing measures in support of Bulgaria after Russia halted the supply of Russian gas to the country, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried said, and added that the Biden administration fully supported Bulgaria.

Assistant Secretary of State Karen Donfried stated further that it is the role of the US to help Europeans find alternative sources, and American liquefied natural gas has a key role to play.
