President Rumen Radev pays an official visit to Germany

Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev is paying an official visit to Germany at the invitation of his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The Bulgarian delegation includes representatives of employers' organizations, managers from the largest economic zone in the Balkans (Trakia Economic Zone) and business representatives. President Radev's visit to Germany will continue until May 17.

On May 16, President Radev will hold talks with the German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Later, he will be received by Chancellor Olaf Scholz. A meeting with the Mayor of Berlin, Franziska Giffey, is also scheduled.

Economic cooperation, investment cooperation, diversification of energy supplies and Europe's security in the context of the war in Ukraine will be the focus of discussions.
