Number of actively registered Covid-19 patients in Bulgaria drops below 105,000

Bulgaria has registered 362 new cases of coronavirus in the country in the last 24 hours, or 236 cases more than the day before. Over 64% of the newly infected persons are not immunized. 5.3% of the 6,777 tests performed came back positive, data from the National Coronavirus Information Portal shows.

The number of actively registered patients has decreased by 4,901 to 104,198. 100 infected patients were admitted to hospitals in the past day. 70 of the newly hospitalized, or 70%, have not been vaccinated. Hospitalized patients have decreased by 15 to 583. 55 people are in intensive care.

11 patients with an established Covid-19 infection have died during the day. All deceased patients were not vaccinated.

6,252 recoveries were reported in the past day. 725 vaccines were administered on Monday.
