Eight scientists received the Pythagoras Prize of the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science in the 14th edition of the competition for scientific contribution, in which 34 scientists competed.
One of the winners is Prof. Irena Kostova from the Medical University in Sofia, who is in the top 10 list of scientists in the world with the greatest contribution to the development of modern science at Stanford University.
