Bulgaria Parade to take place in Chicago

The Bulgaria Parade will take place in Chicago at 11 am local time. The parade is a joint celebration for Bulgarian schools there and dates back to 2012. It will be held in Elk Grove Village with the participation of children from 10 Bulgarian schools, three kindergartens and over 20 cultural and educational organizations.

The parade is held under the auspices of Bulgaria’s Consulate General in Chicago. The only one of its kind Bulgarian-English school in the United States is also situated in Chicago. The parade will merge with the Bulgarian Community Festival that will feature Bulgarian artists from the United States.
