At a Coalition Council, convened by Prime Minister Kiril Petkov, today in the Council of Ministers the ruling coalition partners will discuss the issue of North Macedonia. Prime Minister Petkov also urged President Rumen Radev to convene the Consultative Council on National Security (CCNS) over Macedonia, which is to be updated on progress in bilateral relations over the past six months.
"The CCNS was already convened five months ago and it came to a unanimous position that the Bulgarian veto on North Macedonia's EU negotiation process should not be lifted before Skopje meets Sofia's conditions.
