Another recognition for the creative talent of the children from Pleven

Talented children from the Pleven-based art school "Kolorit" performed brilliantly at the International Festival of Arts "The Bulgarian Soul of the Holy Land" held in Israel. The event unites through creativity Bulgarian children living in different countries and continents.

Five of the young artists in the Pleven school are winners of the Grand Prix in different age groups - Divna Obretenova, Katrin Ilieva, Lilia Yankova, Pavel Simeonov and Ralitsa Savcheva.

Another 35 children were awarded first, second and third prizes. Children from 15 countries took part in the 7th online edition of the international art forum under the auspices of the mayor of Bat Yam - Zvika Brot, the head of the school in Pleven Maya Ananieva told BTA.


She added that she directed her students to look with great love at the timeless beauty of Bulgarian folk costumes, ornaments and dyes in embroidery, rugs, the unique adornments in the hair of Bulgarian girls, the stylish interior of old Bulgarian houses, the richly laid traditional Bulgarian table.

The collection of 40 award-winning drawings is expected to be printed on vinyl and displayed in an exhibition.
