Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Saturday, May 28

Yellow and Orange Code alert over significant precipitation issued for 11 Bulgarian districts

Clouds will form over Western Bulgaria and the central part of the country on Saturday with a chance of rain and thunderstorms. Hailstorms are also possible. The weather will continue hot with maximum temperatures fluctuating between 28°C and 33°C, for Sofia 27°C.

It will be sunny along the Black Sea coast. Daytime highs will range from 21°C along the northern coastline to 26°C along the southern portions of the seacoast. Seawater temperature is 13°C-19°C. Sea state 1-2.

Clouds will form in the mountains in the morning hours. Rain and thunderstorms are in the forecast for the massifs in Western and Central Bulgaria in the afternoon. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will reach 21°C, at 2,000 meters- 13°C.

Temperatures will drop on Sunday. Rain will cover the whole country.
