"Neither the Prosecutor's Office, nor the Commission for Counteracting Corruption and Illegal Assets Forfeiture are doing their job. Otherwise, there wouldn't be any sanctioned persons under the Global Magnitsky Act, Bulgaria’s Minister of Innovation and Growth Daniel Lorer said for the Bulgarian National Radio.

"We are determined to create an institutional framework which will enable Bulgaria to take legal measures to reduce the impact of these sanctions on its institutions, Minister Lorer explained. The Parliament will decide whether there will be such a law. The Ministry of Justice is working on the topic and will come up with a proposal, Daniel Lorer explained.
