An expert council of the ruling coalition discusses the budget update and proposed anti-crisis measures at the Ministry of Finance.

Before the meeting, the Bulgarian Socialist Party said that aid for the most vulnerable would be implemented in the budget update. According to There is Such a People party, the update includes anti-crisis measures but not reforms. However, We Continue the Change party is convinced that there are reforms planned in the project. They expressed hope that the update will come into force on 1 July.

"As you know, the goal is to provide help for businesses and people in the fastest possible way," said Andrey Gyurov, chairman of the parliamentary group of We Continue the Change. It has also become clear that a salary increase of up to 20% for the defence sector, the Interior Ministry and the Council of Ministers is on the way.
