No Covid-related deaths registered for second consecutive day

49 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 1,151 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, 31 down on the previous day. The positivity rate on Sunday stands at 4.25%. Almost 79.5% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.

The number of active coronavirus cases in the country is up by 47 to 73,148. The number of patients being treated in hospital is up by 6 to 338, of them 32 in intensive care.

No Covid-related deaths have been registered in the past day, and only 2 are reported as recovered.

10 doses of vaccine have been administered on Sunday. 2,059,887 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle in the country, 759,297 have taken a booster shot.
