Bulgaria’s Minister of Regional Development: More border checkpoints will reduce traffic congestion

Bulgaria needs to increase the number of border checkpoints and expand its road network in order to cope with the increased traffic from neighboring countries, Deputy Premier and Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Grozdan Karadjov told the MPs from the National Assembly Committee on Regional Development.

  In Minister Karadjov's words, part of the traffic should be directed through less congested routes after the road network expansion.
