The State Consolidation Company has announced that it will refer to the prosecutor's office irregularities detected at the state-owned company for foreign trade in special goods "Kintex".

The company's financial report for the first quarter of 2022 showed 17 times less profit than in the same period last year. The now dismissed director of Kintex, Alexander Mikhailov, allegedly ran the company single-handedly and failed to report the contracts, the consolidation company claims. Alexander Mikhailov denied everything to journalists and stated that a smear campaign was underway against him.

According to him, arms worth 102 million euros had been exported via Romania to Poland with final destination Ukraine. "Deputy Prime Minister Assen Vassilev can provide a reference from the Customs Agency on the value of weapons exported since the beginning of the war.

It might turn out that the increase is 45 to 47 times," Mikhailov underlined, adding that it was mainly 122-millimeter BM-21 missile shells.
