Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) Governor Dimitar Radev warned that the dynamics of the political processes in Bulgaria will determine whether Bulgaria will join the euro zone in January 2024. The adoption of 100 legislative texts is needed, including a law on the adoption of the euro.
"The whole process of joining the eurozone is very much a function of the political process. We have had a major change in this process since yesterday.
