As the National Assembly started its work today, tensions immediately started running high. Ugly scenes followed a declaration read out by the leader of the nationalist Vazrazdahe party Kostadin Kostadinov, who called the supporters of the government, protesting in front of parliament building “sorosoids”, who want to organize a “Maidan”.
In response, the Bulgarian Socialist Party stated that people saw the nationalist Vazrazdahe voting together with the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, MRF.
