The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy will support the professional development of about 115,000 young people until 2027, through the budget of the Bulgaria's Human Resources Development operational programme 2021-2027. This was announced by the Minister of Labour and Social Policy Georgi Gyokov at the "Support for careers in arts and culture" forum in Sofia today.

More than 365 million euros are earmarked for the period to integrate young people into the labour market, facilitate their transition from education to employment, provide internships, on-the-job training and subsidised employment, Minister Gyokov said.

Since 2014, more than 80 000 young people have received support under the programme, he added.
