Bulgarian political parties argue over the French proposals for North Macedonia

The French proposal to lift the veto over the start of negotiations between North Macedonia and the EU wants us to let Skopje start the process, and the EU and France will ensure that all Bulgarian conditions are met only then. This was stated by the leader of the party "There is Such a People", Slavi Trifonov, in front of 7/8 TV channel. Trifonov doubted how realistic this was.

Trifonov is spreading false allegations regarding the EU-proposed framework, the ruling party "We Continue the Change" said.
The French proposal is extremely good for Bulgaria, which we are about to throw away because we are in a domestic political scandal, commented Hristo Ivanov, the leader of "Democratic Bulgaria", in an interview for "Nova TV". According to him, it will be a national betrayal if the parliament does not consider the proposal.
