No Covid-related deaths; share of positive tests rises to 12.2%

There were 240 new Covid cases registered in Bulgaria on Saturday or 14 less in comparison to the previous day. Over 58.7% of the newly infected were non-vaccinated citizens. 12.2% of 1,974 tests returned positive result, compared to 10% on Saturday, according to the portal coronavirus.bg.

The number of registered patients rose by 118 to 61,301. There were 16 hospital admissions as 13 or 81.25% of the patients were non-vaccinated. The total number of coronavirus patients in hospital rose to 318 as 26 people are in intensive care.

No Covid-related deaths were registered during the past day. 122 people recovered and 37 vaccines were administered on Saturday.
