Prime Minister Kiril Petkov denied that Bulgaria exported weapons directly to Ukraine. He pointed out that the decision made by the Bulgarian parliament to send only ammunition and humanitarian aid to Ukraine is being respected.
"Bulgaria has a fairly large arms industry. Our factories have always exported products all over the world. Recently, customers from Poland, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom have arrived with orders. Currently, this industry is booming. It is the buyer's responsibility what they do with the weapons bought," the Prime Minister told journalists who met Petkov at the entrance of the Bulgarian National Radio.
