We Continue the Change party, who are seeking a mandate to try to form a second government in the current parliament, did not go to the political consultations with the president. In a letter, they asked to be set another day for a meeting, excusing themselves with parliamentary workload.

The representatives of the parliamentary group of the BSP for Bulgaria will also not go to the consultations with President Radev. They too explained that they will not be able to attend because of the debates on the state budget update in the parliamentary committee.

The leader of the main opposition party GERB, Boyko Borissov, denied to the Sega daily that he was considering his resignation. "GERB has a leader elected three months ago. I have pulled out of parliament, I don't want to provoke anyone, I have proposed a cabinet without my participation. From now on, playing their whistle, letting a strong party become a brooch of We continue the change like Democratic Bulgaria party – that is out of the question. Absolutely elections," Borissov urged.
