Bulgaria reports 2 Covid-related deaths in past day

549 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 4,587 tests performed, or 46 less as compared to the previous day, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 57.5% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated. 12% of the tests have returned positive result.

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection decreased with 913 to 60,017. 43 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 69.77% of them were not vaccinated. 339 people are being treated in hospital, as 26 of them are in intensive care units.

2 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past day. 1,460 have been reported cured.

1,160 vaccine doses were administered on Tuesday.
