“Expectations that We Continue the Change will be able to fulfil the mandate for forming a new government within the current parliament are very low,” Democratic Bulgaria co-chairman Atanas Atanasov said. Democratic Bulgaria is prepared to try to form a government, Hristo Ivanov, also co-chairman stated on his part.

Atanas Atanasov called on President Rumen Radev to hold new consultations very carefully “so as to establish which political force is capable of finding a majority for the formation of a government through dialogue”.

There Is Such a People party are also ready to be handed a mandate for the formation of a cabinet, though they set a condition - that outgoing Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Kiril Petkov and Assen Vassilev are not ministers in a prospective government.
