According to Atanaska Todorova, a labour market expert at the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria, the large number of people who started work is due to the launch of programmes for hiring unemployed people for general activities at the municipalities, as well as to the new programme Solidarity aimed to promote Ukrainian refugees‘ employment.
