Militsa Mircheva will represent Bulgaria at the Sevtov Championship in Oregon

Bulgaria will be represented by one athlete at the World Championships starting on July 15 in Eugene, Oregon, USA - the most significant athletic event for 2022. This is Militsa Mircheva, who will participate in the marathon, atletikabg.com website reports.

Mircheva recorded two strong marathon performances this year – on January 16 in Houston, USA (2:37:47), and on May 15 in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she covered the world championship standard in 2:29:23 and improved by more than 5 minutes the national record.
