Bulgarian students win medals in prestigious science Olympiads

Bulgarian students won a gold, silver and 3 bronze medals at the 52nd International Physics Olympiad in Switzerland. This has been the best performance by a Bulgarian team since the first Olympiad in 1967, the Ministry of Education announced. All participants from the Bulgarian team won medals among a total of 368 competitors from 75 countries.

The Bulgarian student team in the 54th International Chemistry Olympiad won a gold and 3 silver medals. 326 students from 83 countries participated in the competition.

Bulgarian students who took part in the 63rd International Mathematics Olympiad IMO 2022, which was held in Oslo, won five medals and a certificate in competition with 589 students from 104 countries. In the team ranking, Bulgaria took 16th place with 177 points.
