The State Agency for National Security has sent the Supreme Cassation Prosecutor's Office data from its investigation into the diversification of natural gas supplies by the public supplier Bulgargaz.

In recent days, the opposition party GERB disclosed data that the authorities used official Russian representatives of Gazprom such as Wintershall to purchase Russian gas, although in 2012 the middlemen in the supply of blue fuel were supposedly removed. SANS points out that if more facts and circumstances that pose a threat to Bulgarian national security were found, additional measures would be taken.
