29% of daily Covid-19 tests are positive; no coronavirus-related deaths

There were 822 new Covid-19 cases registered in Bulgaria in the past day, as 28.93% of 2,841 tests returned positive result, according to official data. 34 people with Covid-19 were hospitalized, 58.82% of them are non-vaccinated. The total number of those hospitalized at the moment is 887 as 47 of the patients are in intensive care. No covid-related deaths were reported in the past day. 62 people recovered.

The total number of people with a completed vaccination cycle has reached 2,063,809. Varna, Sofia-city and Burgas are the regions with the highest incidence growth registered for a week.
