There is proof that the company Bulgargaz has presented information to the public selectively and manipulatively, regarding its correspondence with Gazprom Export about the latter’s demands for a new payment mechanism, read the conclusions of a report by the ad-hoc parliamentary committee for the examination of the circumstances leading to the suspension of natural gas by Gazprom Export.

The committee states that the alternative gas deliveries that have been provided from suppliers come at considerably higher prices, and that the traders were selected following criteria and rules which are not transparent. The conclusion is that the report should be submitted to the state bodies so they can take legal action.

Parliament, however, dismissed the report of the ad-hoc parliamentary committee after 94 MPs voted in favour, 70 against and 48 abstentions.
