"Several EU countries have already succeeded in diversifying their energy supplies. Bulgaria is trying to catch up with them to ensure its energy security".

This was stated by the outgoing Prime Minister Kiril Petkov during his meeting with the management of the nuclear power plant in Kozloduy and representatives of "Westinghouse", in the presence of the outgoing Minister of Energy Alexander Nikolov

Petkov said that he was trying to understand what was preventing the execution of the contract signed in 2021 for the delivery of nuclear fuel. The commitment was made by both sides to solve the technical problems so that deliveries can resume.
