Bulgaria reports 4 Covid-related deaths in past day

1,770 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 6,539 tests performed, a positivity rate of 27%. Two thirds of the new cases are among the unvaccinated, data of coronavirus.bg indicate.

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection increased with 565 to 22,689. 166 people have been admitted to hospitals in the past day. 144 of them, or 85.5%, were unvaccinated. 998 Covid-19 patients are being treated in hospital, as 52 of them are in intensive care units.

4 Covid-related deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours. 37,360 people with an established coronavirus infection have died since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. 1,001 people have been reported cured in the past day. 3,619 vaccine doses were administered on Thursday.
