Protesters are planning to set up a tent camp on the Danube Bridge in Ruse at 6pm on Wednesday to express their discontent against the traffic congestion caused by cargo vehicles, the BNR’s correspondent in Ruse Asya Pencheva reported.

The protesters will gather at the roundabout in front of the Danube Bridge border checkpoint. Protesters will close the roundabout indefinitely until the problem is resolved, the protest’s organiser Ivan Tsonev said. "This is our third or fourth protest. All of the previous protests have had no effect. Now we are determined to resort to extreme measures", Ivan Tsonev said. In his words, the cars will be allowed to pass through.
