The crisis headquarters in the energy sector, formed by Bulgarian Prime Minister Galab Donev, held its first meeting. After its end, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policies and Minister of Transport and Communications Hristo Alexiev, announced at a briefing that the staff had identified concrete steps and deadlines.

According to Alexiev, there were no contracts for tankers with liquefied natural gas, but only an offer for three deliveries this year. The Deputy Prime Minister also said that the current condition of Bulgargaz is extremely difficult from the point of view of finances and guaranteeing cash flows, as the demand for gas is high and the prices are much higher.

Earlier in the day, Hristo Alexiev also held a meeting with branch organizations of carriers, with whom he discussed the problems in the sector and the steps to solve them.
