It is of great importance that the elections on October 2 produce a stable governing majority that will carry out the urgent reforms and make strategic decisions for the country, President Rumen Radev said. At a meeting in the presidency, Radev called on the caretaker ministers and the electoral administration to work on increasing trust in the machine vote.

"A clear methodology and transparent actions are needed to give confidence to the parties and citizens that there is no manipulation of the machines during any of the stages of preparation of the elections and their conduct – starting from the storage of the machines and the software, to the transportation, the voting and reporting of the result," the head of state said.
