Bulgaria reports 21% positive tests for Covid-19 in past day

The new cases of Covid-19 registered in Bulgaria in the past day are 1,141. According to the data of the Unified Information Portal, 21% of the 5,264 tests performed came back positive. The highest number of new cases are in Sofia - 210, Plovdiv - 105 and Burgas - 86.

There are 990 hospitalized patients, of which 50 are in intensive care units. There are 128 new hospital admissions.

12 people have died. 1,954 were cured in the last 24 hours.

1,668 patients were vaccinated in the last 24 hours. There are already 2,067,803 people who have completed the vaccination cycle in Bulgaria. 856,896 have received booster doses, and 58,160 have received a fourth injection.
