Redeployment of military equipment and personnel to Bulgaria is ongoing

The redeployment of military personnel and equipment in the NATO battle group under the command of Italy continues on the territory of Bulgaria, announced the press center of the Ministry of Defense.

The movement of military and military equipment columns will continue until the end of the week. The column will cross the road infrastructure from Greece to the training ground "Novo Selo" and will be escorted by teams of the Military Police Service.

The Battle Group is being formed on the territory of Bulgaria, by decision of the Council of Ministers of 2 March and 20 May this year, with the aim of reinforcing NATO's defence capabilities to protect the territorial integrity of the member states.
