More than 40,000 schoolchildren have taken free holidaythanks to the national programme "Together Again", organized by the Ministry of Education and Science. For the second year running, the program has funded six-day trips to address the lack of an active social life during the Covid-19 pandemic.

More than 30 disadvantaged children went on holiday in the coastal town of Obzor at the initiative of the National Association of Orphans in Bulgaria. The Bulgarian State Railways provided the children with free transport.

Traditionally, the Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) supports initiatives for social adaptation and integration of children deprived of parental care.
