Long queues, chaos and tension reign at the border crossing "Malko Tarnovo - Dereköy" on the Turkish side of the border. Listeners of the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) reported that crossing the checkpoint could take between 5 and 8 hours.
Last night the queue of waiting vehicles was 5 km long, BNR reporter Maria Fileva reported. "The delay is due to the organisation set up by the Turkish side, where people have to wait in two queues alternately - first to be photographed and then to have their vehicle documents checked.
